We are honored to announce that Two-Time Super Bowl Bowl Champion, Five-Time NFL MVP & Member of the Pro Football HOF Peyton Manning will be the speaker for Middle Tennessee Christian School’s 27th Legacy of Light Gala on April 24.
As our spring fundraising event, the Legacy of Light Gala has been and continues to be critically important as we seek to make excellent Christian education possible for students at MTCS. God has blessed us tremendously through your generous participation and support. We invite you to be part of one of the most talked-about and anticipated events on our campus and in our community. The Legacy of Light Gala is set to occur in the MTCS Varsity Gym, exclusively for sponsors and their guests. No general admission or individual reserved seat tickets will be available for purchase.
Peyton Manning, a legendary quarterback and the NFL’s only five-time MVP, is widely regarded as one of the greatest in league history. A 14-time Pro Bowler and first-ballot Hall of Fame inductee (2021), he led both the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos to Super Bowl victories – becoming the first starting quarterback to win with two different teams.
Over his 18-season career, Manning set multiple records, including career touchdown passes, completions, and passing yards. He was named Sports Illustrated’s Sportsman of the Year (2013) and earned NFL Comeback Player of the Year (2012) after returning from injury.
A University of Tennessee standout, Manning led the Vols to an SEC Championship, graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors, and had his jersey retired in 2005. He continues to support UT through the Peyton Manning Scholarship.
Off the field, Manning is deeply involved in philanthropy, founding the PeyBack Foundation with his wife, Ashley, to assist at-risk youth and championing causes like The Pat Summitt Foundation and the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital. He has been recognized with the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, the Bart Starr Award, and the Lincoln Medal for his contributions.
In 2020, Manning launched Omaha Productions, an entertainment company behind Monday Night Football with Peyton & Eli, the Places series, and major projects with ESPN, Netflix, and A+E Networks. His impact spans sports, media, and charitable work, solidifying his legacy both on and off the field.
